Although I'm pretty content with my body type, I refuse to believe I'm "only" ~3kg of muscle mass away from a supposed most ideal body.
Besides, even if it is true, I have yet to notice anything in terms of women being physically attracted to me; in additions all notable physical features are practically completely covered up the times you are not shirtless while in public (which is 99.9% of the time).
As for female body, I guess it depends on where you live and what era you're looking for. In past times when food wasn't too abundant and it was mostly wealthy people who could afford indulging in over-saturation of food consumption, being fat was considered attractive as that implied wealth and thus by proxy status etc. among women. (Just look at paintings around the Renaissance I believe, it was not uncommon painters were asked by such women to paint them a bit heavier than they actually were.)
It also helped the average lifespan was way shorter and being considered quite fat back then was only a bit heavier than OP's pic; health issues surrounding being fat were much less obvious or causes of death.
In this day and age, in the Western countries where food exists in abundance, almost anyone can become fat if they wanted to with next to no effort. Add to that the increased lifespan and increased awareness of health issues surrounding being very fat / obese, and a shift occurs.
Being healthy, relatively fit, eating "biologic" and expensive food, basically showing some control with what you consume and trying to extend one's potential lifespan is what is deemed more attractive nowadays.
Different people have different preferences though, a huge chunk of people like/prefer body types not like OP's pic. I don't think a supposed "ideal" matters much in this case, specifically if claimed to be an objective rather than subjective ideal.

Baggy clothes/shirts were all I wore for years, only since half a year I finally got convinced considering fitted clothes instead, so that might have affected it prior.
Perhaps I'm just blind to social cues indicating women notice it and find it anything but neutral, or they're just incredibly good at hiding it, but I think it's more likely they tend to find my taller friends more attractive (even if they're skinnyfat or even pretty much fat) making me look invisible.
