That's way, way easier. You could visit a student access service and asked to get assessed. They should be happy to do this for you - remember, they actually want you to stay in school.
Drop-out is a huge headache for universities, especially with declining enrollment.
If you want more assistance, you'll have to announce your uni, but I think most Canadian unis should have something like this.
