One little sperg's actually getting to be somewhat sociable; a little more work, and he could be ready to be mainstreamed.
I will do my best to make sure this generation of autists doesn't grow up to be like you guys.

Cashier at dukin donuts
NEET, actively looking for work since September, and losing hope of having a decent career.
Had some temp work this Wed-Fri, in a call centre, which was incredibly dull. Bit of money coming in though, and it was made a bit easier knowing I wouldn't be there long. I have some more temp work next week, starting on Tuesday, which pays better and also sounds more interesting. Might go right up to Christmas, but might not, which would give me a week or two of justified NEETdom around the holidays.

>oh! so if i bring my laptop to you then you can fix it?

My family thanksgiving weekend consisted of me sitting in the corner fixing everyone's computers.
after thanksgiving my dad dragged my ass out to his church because "the internet was slow". "oh my son is a computer person, he will look at it fo free"
so yea, i get that a lot
oh and to top it all off i get /one/ day to myself to recharge my social batteries before i go back to work.
life is suffering.

Surprisingly I get tips, on the bar its mostly regulars who are old and pretty wealthy, we get on well since our humours match and most usually say "put a drink in for yourself when you finish", managers say to put it through but choose if I want to withdraw the money later when they aren't there as refund or actually have the drinks, usually have one and call it a day.
>>24624226
It is draining familo, my managers are cool and all but they usually just pile more on than I want to deal with, they're only a call away but its a matter of being the only staff member on shift and site doing everything from changing kegs to booking guests with people storming the bar until my hours are over and someone else covers.
I'd take something in law over that.

This law firm. It's in the legal services department, and by the sound of it it's mostly copying stuff, bringing documents to lawyers, and general admin stuff. Sounds fairly easy to me, and walking around so much should keep me awake.

Even though it's pennies compared to what I got when I had a job, the 188 pounds I got from 3 days of temp work feel like a fortune now, especially considering how little work I did to earn them. Like I'm not just haemorrhaging money now.

small time online fertilizer merchant. filling orders for usps and ups to pick up, with the occasional bulk order for farmers. liquid fish stored for 6 months in florida sun is the worst smell you can imaginebut I go back to uni in january so it's okay
>>24627096
It pays enough per contract that I can do 1 3 month contract every 2 years and own a home. I enjoy it a lot and mostly work from home. I've only gotten work through people that my family knows, and I don't have a college degree, so I can't really get employed anywhere else. But I've worked enough contracts in my network of employers that people trust me enough to hire me. In other words, it's not really doable for other people with the same level of education as me.
If you're willing to go to uni for stats or applied mathematics, it's a very good job to have. And there isn't a lot of competition for any level of actuary, especially if you get into an industry that doesn't normally use actuaries.
>>24627541
Shit, that sounds pretty good.
Shame I'm shit academically and have already been to uni.
