>There are still people on here who want a gf
Technology has your back guys. The feminists may try to stop them but the demand is too high.
Our salvation is coming.
I love these pictures.
m-my fetishmore please
I sure hope so, buddy. The glorious nippons are on it already. Maybe some day we'll all make it
The biggest impediment is AI, I mean even if we didn't have robo bodies a lifelike waifu ai would be amazing. Seems pretty far off sadly.

It's not the bodily perfection I crave so much, but the software. I can buy a fleshlight right now, today, for a few bucks. I can't buy someone to have intelligent conversations with, who will know how to bring me up when I'm feeling down and pick up on cues such as the difference between a smile and a frown, or a happy voice and an angry voice. Dating something like Cortana with an imperfect (even C-3PO level) body is far superior, I feel, to dating something like Cleverbot with a perfect recreation of Emma Watson's body.
If they're fully integrated in society, and can function (and are accepted) in a social gathering instead of being hidden shamefully in the closet, that's perfect.

computing is still following moore's law
artificial neural networks are getting more sophisticated
i can see it happening within our lifetimes
>>24622841
They're cute in their own way.

>computing is still following moore's law
Believe it stopped already.
>artificial neural networks are getting more sophisticated
Not really in ways that could be used for AI as far as I know. ANN research is more for things like classification, recognition etc. So they can data mine and determine who is terrorist from patterns, or determine what you want to buy.
I really hope it becomes reality before i die....

in terms of transistor density yes
not in terms of FLOPs though
anyway the neocortex is basically just a neural network, if we can find a way to structure it correctly i think we could simulate a brain
if not in software then in hardware

>anyway the neocortex is basically just a neural network, if we can find a way to structure it correctly i think we could simulate a brain
No, that's my point. ANN are not really similar to the brain and more just model to do machine learning and approx functions.
As far as I know old style ai research towards general intelligence ai had been dead in the water. Specialized ann for machine learning aren't really applicable to the task.
>i think we could simulate a br
Far too complex unless we have some breakthrough.
>>24623095
I hope so too. I also hope that I'll be able to afford one.
>>24623394
Shit, I just realized that companies will know the demand for these will be enormous. They will look to jew us out of every dollar they can
Post more perfection!

I will steal any number of car parts, game consoles, whatever pawnshops have, and perform any other form of niggatry to obtain my beautiful waifu.
>tfw no robo maid gf
You're not getting your jetpack, your hovercar, or your robowaifu.
You'll die a wrinkly old man as the world descends further down the corporate, stagnant path.
The salvation is far away.
If I haven't killed myself when I'm in my late 50s and these things are good and affordable I won't be able to enjoy them much anyway.

>>24623887
Hmm, what does it mean?
>>24622981
highlighting this, my dear brother said everything
>tfw will never go shop for parts with my robot waifu
