I can stay interested for maybe a week, and by then I've either learned everything I wanted to learn on my own, or have no interest in learning anything. This is the 4th semester now where I've started classes and dropped everything but 1 or 2 after a month and a half. I kind of dated one and know r9k just because of her. She was 1250km away and never allowed me to see her, because "I will not like her in real". Is there anything else you could do for the guy you're working with? You mentioned you used to do real estate too, how about something as a sort-of side job to do until May? Or some co-op work through your university, if they offer that kind of thing. It'll probably keep you interested since it's related to what you want to do.
Or maybe start planning out how your rifle business will work? Then sell your rifles for a little bit more to supplement your income during the winter months? I dunno. I guess that could still be unpredictable since it's dependent on getting people to buy your rifles to begin with.

I have 19 credits worth of electives standing between me and a bachelors in statistics.

Marketing, international business, economics, some upper level stats electives, a couple different foreign language intro classes, some communications classes. It sucks because I have all my required classes done. I just can't for the life of me finish classes I'm not interested in. So I'm sitting here at 101 credits not doing anything.

I told him about my idea to build a program for bloodstock agents, and he said he'd buy it from me when it was finished and hire me full time to do continued development.

He's not doing anymore acquisitions where I live, which is what I worked on before. I've tried interviewing to get jobs with other real estate companies, but I'm really, really bad at interviewing. I have way fewer bills to pay this year than last year, and I got paid more at the November sale, so I'll be fine until May.

It's going to take a significant amount of planning, plus I need to lease a commercial building to start the business in because of ATF reqs for an FFL07. Which is why I don't want to do it until I have a steady flow of income. The only place within an hour of my house that is big enough and cheap enough is $1500 a month.
