Fem here, roommate is a male in the makeup industry.
More and more men are starting to wear makeup, and it's honestly not a big deal.
For example, some bb cream and concealer for acne or uneven skin tone is perfectly acceptable, and no girl is going to take offense or issue with that.
Of course, the best solution is to just have nice skin to begin with, so I recommend heading to Sephora and talking to one of the skincare people there. They'll set you up with hella samples, and you can figure out what works for your skin. A little investment into skincare can make a world of difference tbqh
