I want to get a knife, robots. Do you own any knives?
Not sure if I should go with a KBAR but I'm afraid it'll make me look more like a school shooter than I already do.
A multitool seems useful but not sure if it's seen as fedora.
A small folding knife seems decent too but it's difficult to find one I like so thought maybe i'd go with a switchblade instead.
Balisongs are shit.

well what do you want to use the knife for?

Stabbing people.
Not really, just EDC. I usually carry a small swiss army knife but the blade has become insufficient.

>EDC
Well if it's legal where you live, you should go with the most effective one.

Look up what exactly is legal to carry where you live. In CT the blade can be no longer than 4 inches which really hampers what you can have. Granted you could be a literal edgelord and carry something illegal.

As far as I understood, where I live anything under 10 inches is legal. Reading a bit of /k/ and the sticky gave me the impression that a full tang is the best for practical purposes but a solid combat knife would scare normies and reveal my powerlevel too much. That's why I considered a simple switchblade or a multitool, which are more socially acceptable.
Get a spyderco dragonfly or benchmade griptillian. Here are mine for reference. Left is the grip, right is the dragonfly. Both are light buy the dragonfly is barely noticeable in a pocket and comes pretty sharp.
I had a sog flash II that was amazing. It's super light and is spring assisted, if you care about that.

griptillian is a great knife albeit a bit pricey
kershaw makes some pretty good knives OP, look at the skyline, it looks relatively non threatening but still pretty useful
