I feel that there is often a difference in perception in what Asians and non-Asians see as attractive. I can see Asians thinking she's too normie and doesn't adhere to the demure waifu stereotype and thus less attractive than someone who better fits that ideal.

Both. For me I was trying and failing as many things as possible. Different passions, learning different languages, starting new businesses and experiencing different things. Eventually I discovered that the one thing I really cared about was what kept me from doing chores in high school; porting operating systems to unique architectures. Yours will probably be different.
Anyway I realized I couldn't do everything at once anymore if I wanted to stop failing, and since studying something I enjoy is a more predictable thing to not fail at than finding/ keeping a mate, I decided to cut my losses. I'm 26.
I still go to the gym every day and run 5k events in the weekend; keep up with world events and keep myself/ place clean. After that and work, there really isn't any energy left to spend that I wouldn't rather spend learning about something I'm passionate about.
Even at the mini marathons I keep to my self and head immediately to my car after the finish line vice mingling with instagramers
She is fairly average. You probably aren't near Asian people enough if you think that is VERY pretty.

I've lived in the pacific since 2010, Hawaii for four years and I'm in Guam currently. both places are brimming with Jap tourists and I've been to Japan four times (Korea twice, pinay once, saipan once).
