Post a classical song and describe how it makes you feel or think.

I'm too much of a snob. The only thing that I hear when this plays is "entry level". I hear this one everywhere, in movies, in films, as a ringtone. It's not even his best one:

I mean to say that I hear OP's everywhere, in movies, etc. Not to say that it's bad, but it's a shame that seems to be the only one people know when all of Chopin's Nocturne's are pretty kickass.

Don't mind me fami just posting the best piece of music ever composed by man

Chopin's 19th Piano Nocturne. Youtube video left it out.
>>24604832
This was either his first or second nocturne written, and it shows. This along with the Op. 9 No. 2 are the most overrated of the chopin nocturnes. However
i am glad Chopin is becoming more well known, even if it is by works never meant to be published, like this and the fantasie impromptu.
>>24604857
ironic seeing as the nocturne you posted is just as overplayed, entry level, plus >>24605150

Awesome. It makes me look behind feeling that someone is there going to stab me.
>>24605150
>>24605208
In what way is it overrated or overplayed? No. 9 is far more ubiquitous in media which supports both, but what evidence do you have for 72?
>>24604978
Op. is an abbreviation for Opus

>>24604857
Just because I posted that one doesn't mean I don't know any other of Chopin's works. It was just what was playing for me at the time.
Would be nice if you didn't try to sully this thread with your "too much of a snob".
>>24607033
Fuck off, I posted another song and explained myself.
>>24607119
You started it lad, and I knew what you meant even before you "explained" yourself. It's a shame snobs like you can't even enjoy Chopin's work regardless of how "popular" it is. Last time I checked musical hipters didn't exist.
Anything by Joe Hisaishi. Literally anything. It's so emotional and gripping.
