I am dying to know where you guys are on the aspergers scale. It will take up to 25 mins if you want to be as accurate as you can to answer 137 questions.
Don't forget to include the photo (pic related) as well as the stats of how normative you are out of 200 as well as how aspie you are out of 200.
http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php
bump for a second batch of people to read this.
Bored anyway.
Sorry op, I filled it out but it came out inconclusive as I answered to inconsistently on the control questions. I guess I do not know my self very well. :/
is neurodiverse supposed to be a PC way to say autistic?
>>24604713
All of it is explained when you take the quiz
I remember taking this before. Here's my power-level.
What the fuck does this mean?
In conversations, do you use small sounds that others don't seem to use?
Seems like i'm not an aspie faggot after all
I think this test should be required before entering r9k. NTs GET OFF MY BOARD!!!

I think I'm retarded, because I don't understand half of these questions.
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 124 of 200

You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 129 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 83 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)
Hmmm. I thought I was more aspie than that.

I am honestly surprised. I always suspected I had something like schizotypal personality disordder due to hearing stuff sometimes and being highly paranoid/ deluded about things. do I talk to a doctor? also am I officially a robot now?
>>24605561
No, you're retarded; so you see cocks in everything.
Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 103 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 138 of 200
You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits
10/10 aspergers...
>>24605666
Aspies tend to be more sensitive to colors and sounds. Anxiety and paranoia aren't direct symptoms, but usually happen because of other factors.
Temple Grandin has a lot of good books and talks on it.

This book is also good.
>>24605795
im pretty sound sensitive with things that bother me, but I like concerts despite hating people and loud sounds (im really into music)
im color blind (mix up reds and browns and greens sometimes along with purples/blues i mix up) but colors really facinate me if thats what you mean

I know for me it's things like preferring the texture of foods over the taste of foods.
>Dressing for comfort rather than style
I wear basketball shorts and cargo shorts as much as I can.
>When I am sitting still at the dinner table a lot of times people will ask me to stop shaking my leg.
>I collect things a lot of times. Usually old media, banned cartoons, rare vhs tapes and pre-film code exploitation films
>I tend to go to parties and make friends with their pets more than anything else.
"Oh wow, he normally hates people. What did you do!?"
>I make weird sounds with my mouth when I'm alone. Like beat box sounds.
>I tend to grind my teeth, clench my jaw, clench my fists and toes when I get excited.
These are only some of the things, everyone is different, that's why it's a spectrum. If you want to know more I can go on. I've been reading a bunch of books and watched a bunch of movies on robots.
>>24605829
Using quotes and pop-culture references to communicate almost entirely in conversation is another give away.
Aspies tend to learn most of their social skills by watching others. I like Tarantino movies because the dialogue in them looks the most natural. I try to build personas like that.
It's also why you see weird autistic kids run around like Naruto with their arms behind their backs. Aspies are visual learners and they tend to copy things like that.

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 101 of 200
I'm pretty sure I don't have aspergers. It doesn't say it outright.
I'm just really bad with getting and maintaining relationships and knowing social boundaries. I also obsess over certain interests and cannot work on anything I am not interested in.

Would this make me an aspie? My therapist said I might be borderline but it's hard to tell...
>>24603814
I'm apperently not autistic enough to qualify as a full autist despite a diagnosis of aspergers and add. I think the scores were 86 or something for autism and 91 for neurotypical, but I closed the tab before I thought of saving those numbers.

I >>24608330 Have been trying to decide for a while weather to get a formal diagnosis. I flat out refused to get formally tested back in high school when my psychiatrist said that I most likely have Asperger's and should be tested, because I wanted to join the military when I got out of HS. Would there be any advantages to getting a formal diagnosis in the USA?
Did this for this thread a year back and got the same result again
There we go.
I think I'm fine.
>>24608457
>Would there be any advantages to getting a formal diagnosis in the USA
There really aren't any official advantages. It's easier to get certain jobs if you make it known that you're an aspie. You can also get special accommodations. For me specifically, I work entirely from home because I can't really operate in an office environment, and my employer knows that.
You can also get therapy if you want. Some therapists will only work with diagnosed autists. I went to one for my echolalia, and it actually helped a lot.
It gives you a bit of closure as well. That was the biggest reason I did it, though I still haven't told anyone in my family.
It seems that I'm a fish

There aren't really any that come to mind aside from the military thing, but I was already ineligible for enlistment due to other health problems before I was diagnosed. While most employers will be accommodating, there are some that just won't hire you if you bring up ASD. That's not really an issue if you don't make it known, though.
But I haven't really noticed any issues with having an official diagnosis.
>>24603814

I still have concerns that politicians may try to appease voters by clamping down on the rights of those on the spectrum; especially gun rights. Under the false idea that somehow Aspies are more likely to commit violence (which is proven to be false).

RAADS: http://www.aspietests.org/raads/
EQ: https://psychology-tools.com/empathy-quotient/
ASQ: https://psychology-tools.com/autism-spectrum-quotient/
And, if you don't want to do the whole RAADS or just wan to do another one, here is a short version the RAADS-14 which is only 14 questions long and is less in depth, but is clinically shown to be an effective screening quiz for ASD.
RAADS-14: http://psychcentral.com/quizzes/autism-quiz.htm

Unless, of course, you have no self awareness (as an autist would) and gave unintentionally dishonest answers based more on what you wanted to be rather than what you were.
