Who here /living off credit cards/?
This is great, it's like being a NEET but with more money

You sound like my cousin.

I hope you know that anything you spend must be paid back, typically within 30 days. Literally never make a purchase unless you have the funds to pay it back within 2-3 days. Least, that's my modus operandi, and my score is above 700.
>>
What happens when you can't pay it all back?

Do they repossess all your shit or what?
>>
>>24600125
Depends on the institution you owe money and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
>>

They break your knees and kick your dog senpai

Thats why you just craft a new identity via the darknet

No. you don't have to pay it back. it'll just ruin your credit and you'll get harassed by collections. if you are making payments on something and haven't finished paying that dealership or whatever it is, then THAT can be repossessed but the cc money is yours.

Have a party!! enjoy it.
It's smarter to just build your credit first, paying off credit cards with other credit cards. then after a year when your credit limit is much higher, hit em for a big one.

Had a renter who actually didn't know that. Ran himself into a ridiculous amount of debt paying rent and buying groceries with a credit card he had no intent of paying back. He had to pick up a shitty overnight slave job that paid nearly 2k a month, and still couldn't afford the $350 rent.
>>

I know most of your post is troll bait, but on the off-chance you don't know

>cc money is yours.
>Implying that money doesn't belong to the bank, hence the term "credit," and that the bank cannot at any time, without any explanation, remove all credit it has given you

Credit: the ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future.
>>
you don't "have to pay them back" you have to pay them back OR you'll owe them more money.

There's no such thing as debtors court in the USA anymore. you can't go to prison for it
>>
>>24600691
the only thing that will happen is that you'll owe them more money. they will harass you and prevent you from having accounts or credit in the future.

i'm only joking about it being a good idea but the rest of what i'm saying is true.
>>
>>24599614
is all that working in US?

In Germany, even for something like $50 you have to have a house or something you actually own so they can take that when you can't pay it back

otherwise, nice bait, almost believed
>>
nothing happens except you owe more money and get harrassed. god bless the usa

Longterm, no. But you can 'steal' maybe 1 or 2 thousand over the course of a couple months before they catch on and financially cripple you for decades.
>>
>>24600929
I'm in Australia, a 22yo Engineer. Around a month after getting my first job I got multiple emails and calls from my bank "offering" me credit cards.

I was making above average wage already so I didn't just get offered the lowest credit card.

What would stop me from going crazy with it and maxing it out? I have no assets whatsoever.
>>
>>24601481
everything is more expensive when you have bad credit. not just things you need financed but bills and accounts at places and things like that as well.

if you're gonna pay it back or make at least the minimum payments then pay it off when you get paid or something then that wouldnt ruin you as much but if you just dig a huge hole that spirals out of control and has you owing tens of thousands of dollars you didnt even spend because of interest, then that's a problem for some folks.
>>
>>24599614
/livingoffparentscreditcards/ is godtier tho
>>
I've never had a credit card. I don't really need one but if it can help build credit for the future, why not I guess?
How do I get one? I'd like a 4chan Platinum Card.
>>
>>24601728
I see. I would never do this anyway I was just curious.

But essentially if I had no assets and then I killed myself, there's nothing they could do right?
>>
>>24602685
>is there anything they can do to you if you're dead
fucking lel, anon. fucking lel.

Just like students loan vanish when a student dies, save for some clause passing the payment off to someone else, your debts will also go with you.
>>
Masterful troll, especially considering how most robots have never planned for the future and hope they die in their sleep.
>>
>>24602685
you are correct UNLESS anyone else had ever made any of your payments for you OR ever cosigned any of your cards or loans. otherwise, the debt would die with you (at least in the states)

some collectors would still try to collect but they can be told to fuck off and never call again and the debt would be as dead as you.

credit cards are great for if you're sure you're going to kill yourself and you're not married and have no cosigners you care about.
>>
when mommy dies I plan on living on saved money until its gone, then off credit cards until no one will lend me a cent, then kill myself.
>>
I have a trick for anyone that likes abusing credit cards:

deposit onto an online sportsbook for up to 5,000 dollars. do it from a library and place the bet on a game. an underdog that you think has a chance to win.

if it wins. good. cash out. if it loses, call your bank and tell them you never made that purchase and dont know where it came from. you'll be guilty of fraud (though never caught) and blacklisted from many online sportsbooks (but you're done anyway)
>>
OP here, sorry was in the shower, for all you non believers here's how:
I've got 3 credit cards
I pay one off with the other, and then pay that one off with the other, and then pay the last one off with the first one
No joke
As long as I stay about 150 below the max amount I'm good
I'm being completely serious, NEETbots you really ought to do this
I fortunately you will need good credit
