My dad is a Korean pastor so I've been involved with the Korean church for a long time, although I'm discreetly an atheist.
Koreans are really picky about weight, people would tell me how fat I am even in elementary and ms, which in retrospect is pretty shitty. So don't feel too bad about yourself because even if you're average weight in the US a lot of Korean folk will think your fat.
