...no one is confusing anything, they're insanely comparable.
Its possible to take ANY mentality and take it too far, to one extreme or the other. No matter what the cause is, someone will always forget how to moderate their stance and continue to take it one step further until extremists take over a previously silent group, while the moderates kept their mouths shut for fear of being called dissidents to the cause.
If its a matter of leaders stepping up and controlling their constituents, then BLM needs direction. They need an end game, like 'once you reach this point, its over. the goal has been accomplished". Right now, they don't have that and everyone is getting extremely rooted in their views, so much that they're closing their minds to both sides of the argument.
Which is that one groups lives should not matter more than any others. That's the meaning of "equality", when everyone is on EQUAL footing with one another.

My grandfather and uncles were black panthers in the time in which my cousin was a child.
