I only care about Min wage being raised to 15. It's not right that many people work a 40 hour a week job and still have to be on welfare. If you work 40 hours a week, you deserve the right to live a comfortable life. The lowest paid jobs are always the hardest jobs available. Working min wage retail jobs is basically slave labor. This needs to be addressed.
I am from Turkey I hope the USA elects Bernie so I can migrate there and live on welfare.

$15/hr is something I'm sceptical about.
The Obamacare exchange is having problems, but this requires further goverment intervention. Single payer and fully socialized medicne should be the goal here, and the GOP wants nothing but to go back to the old system.

in the long run though, just raising the minimum wage isn't enough. housing is the main thing people spend money on, and unless there is better regulation of both landlords and the banks they borrow from, even people on $15 an hour will need welfare in a few years. also, there should be more communal gardens/workshops/etc in poorer neighborhoods, as the more people make for themselves, the less money they have to spend

Americans shouldn't be expected to pigeon-hole themselves into a two-party system that represents one extreme versus another, but unfortunately that's how politics work here. All you can do is vote for the lesser of two evils. Voting for a third party is just throwing your vote away.

Come up with a more long-term plan to address the cultural clusterfuck that's going on in the Middle East, rather than just shooting at jihadists after they blow shit up. The Middle East is largely under the influence of Sharia law, so it wouldn't be surprising if these jihadist groups are backed by religious officials who have a foothold in state affairs. Until that problem is addressed, ousting one jihadist group or another isn't going to make a bit of difference - another group is just going to spring up in its place.

really, the problem is that religious extremists in the Middle East control the vast majority of the oil. which is why Western countries should use more alternatives to oil, and try to buy oil from other places (which will probably make it more expensive in the short term, but if we're trying to reduce use that's a good thing

I'm equally sick of CEOs fighting for the right to make $100 million per year for working 9 hours a day outsourcing jobs while the rest of the country decays. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the combination can exist in America.
