Take them both. Polistirex lasts a good 12 hours though, so make sure you don't have anywhere you really need to be tomorrow.
Best piece of advice I've got:
Don't panic. You might start to feel scared, but throw on some music, lay back and roll with it. You can't fight it, so just let it go. I find DXM is WAYYYYYYY less panic inducing than things like LSD or mushrooms, it's pretty robot friendly. You'll feel really dissociated and strange. Look in the mirror once you're full on tripping, it's super weird because it feels like you're looking at a stranger.

Dxm is a hell of a drug I've done all sorts of hallucinogens and other hard drugs and high doses of dxm will fuck you up just as much as some good acid, different highs mind you but it is not to be underestimated just because u can buy it at Kroger. Drink a bunch of grapefruit juice a few hours before tripping it potentiates the trip and makes you feel a little less retarted while you are tripping. Idk about anyone else but I can't sleep for 24 hours after taking it. I quit all drugs 4 years ago due to an opiate addiction I devolped but last year I got a cough and bought some robo gels and ended up eating a whole bottle one day and was smashed. Ended up going on a week long dxm binge that landed me in the psych ward, with some psycosis that lasted a few weeks, not a fun time. But shit I've got bronchitis again and it sure does sound like fun

Lean is one of the shittiest opiates around. You have to have complete base line tolerance to even remotely enjoy lean. Some people's natural tolerance is too and they feel nothing but drowsiness brought on by promethazine. If your tolerance is moderate, the amount of lean you need to ingest gets you to potentially dangerous levels of promethazine which causes restlessness and possible seizures.
Seriously, lean is absolute shit. Get yourself some codeine or hydrocodone pills. Way better.
Though really, don't get either. You don't want to be dependent on opiates. It turns your life into hell.

You can sure as fuck get high on Dextromethorphan, which is the main active ingredient in most cough syrups sold OTC in the US. Most of the time you can buy a brand that has nothing but DXM in it. If you have a brand that has other active ingredient with it along DXM, you might need some extraction techniques. Though, I've never heard of the need to do this since you can just fucking buy plain DXM syrup.

I always found lean to be stupidly entirely because they make a drink out of it and they sip on it. Codeine is it's own inhibitor. When you take codiene it binds to certain receptors and they stay on them for 4-6 hours long after your"high" is gone. If you try to take anymore codeine there are no more recepetors for it to bind to and it just floats around your body causing no effect. You have to wait for the original codeine to leave the receptors. It basically cockblocks itself. Lean is a terrible way of doing codeine. Codeine is already really weak but they are sipping it and only getting the effects of the first few sips. They are wasting like 3/4ths of the bottle. Codeine causing the best effects when taken all at once. Howver it's the most itchiest opiate and many people have histamine reactions, though combating that is what the promethazine is for as well slightly potentiating it, promethazine works very similar to benedryl

That's not exactly true. You'll feel it if you take 60mg on top of 60mg ingested earlier, it just won't have the pleasant come up you had with the first 60. What Codeine does have is a ceiling effect, and past a certain dose, taking anymore is useless.
Codeine is not its own inhibitor. Codeine uses certain enzymes that could be manipulated by inhibition to force more conversion of Codeine to Morphine.
