Not really, I don't mind if someone is looking at me, others can do whatever they want, it doesn't phaze me at all.
I'm just afraid of actually showing interest in someone else. I just have the idea that it'll always come as inappropraite and I also wouldn't want to put others into akward possition for no reason, so I avoid confirming eye contant altogether, though I check for it constatly regardless.
