I went to detox in june after drinking a whole liter of vodka daily since February. before that I was drinking about a fifth a day for years. managed to stay sober for a few months but now I'm drinking again, much less this time though. about 3-4 nights a week I'll drink a pint of vodka.
How the fuck are you still alive? There must be SOME sort of big important role you have in the future that you can't die until or some shit

I don't know. they did blood tests when I checked into detox and I'm fine.
Just turned 30, been drinking for 12 years. In my prime I could drink at least a fifth a day, sometimes more.
Shit has been taking it's toll lately, mainly on my heart. My heart rate and blood pressure are always high, but that could also be from eating like shit and being fat. Anyway, I think I pretty much have to quit right now if I want to have any kind of a future. Or maybe I totally fucked it already and there's no going back.
Not sure, but the point is that drugs are bad mmkay? But if you do have to do drugs, smoke pot instead.

Some people just have a good resistance I guess, I'm the same and had my liver tested recently and everything is normal.
I think it helps that I still eat, take vitamins and drink water though before smashing the fuck out my liver with booze nightly.
