What are some hobbies you gave up on?
I tried creative writing, painting, playing piano and programming. I stopped doing all of them after 1-12 months each and now I'm back to browsing 4chan all day long.

I remember the first exercise at the end of chapter 1 of the Headfirst Python book. I failed it spectacularly. Two chapters later I didn't care about programming anymore.
