I quit my job not too long ago but I would've had to work the whole week without holiday pay if I didn't. I worked with dirty blood on the night shift on top of attending college. No part-time, had to quit because I'd just sleep and go to work, no studying.

Couple of points here:
1) The reasons you list that you wouldn't consider disabilities ("afraid to drive", "get anxious around people", "asperger syndrome") are things that you cannot quantify or experience through the eyes of those who claim them as disabilities. All people are different and those who get anxious around people, for example, may find this entirely disabling and unpleasant to the point where they cannot stand getting up and going to work in the morning. Just because you don't see them as things you would suffer from (read, you see the people as 'weak' and they should just 'get over it') doesn't mean that those who do can operate normally in society.
2) 'They're just lazy and want to stay home'. So? What is inherently wrong with being lazy? Every single human being on the planet is lazy to some extent seeing as there isn't a single person who uses tools in some capacity throughout their lives. It is human nature to be lazy, to not want to put in effort, to not want to work yet still reap the benefits of work. Consider this - would you look at a job with more holidays a year as better or worse than the same job with fewer holidays? It's perfectly reasonable to not want to work, yet those who say such things are demonised. It would be conjecture to say that this is because those who demonise those people are angry/jealous/unhappy with their lives, but it would be interesting to find out if it's true.

Why is it then therefore wrong that those people keep to themselves, accept a small stipend from the government to allow them to live (which is actually considered a human right by civilised societies), and don't bother other people as such? Let them live their lives as they see fit. Some people just aren't happy, comfortable, or fit to interact with society as others do (such as getting a job). Why should they be blamed if they have found a way to maximise their happiness at such insignificant expense to others that it almost universally goes unnoticed?
