/pol/ is made up of impressionable young normies. Robots are generally older and more faded.
A lot of the values are the same, the difference being that /pol/-fags can't think up values for themselves so they borrow from various ideologists.
In this sense, /pol/ is pretty much /r9k/-lite.
robots put their feelings first and will vote for anything that guarantees them autismbux.
much like /r9k/, /pol/ feel like they've been backed into a corner by society but instead of an apathetic or sometimes angry self pity they're much more outwardly violent and willing to see change even if it's outside their ability.

/r9k/, as a whole, isn't racist. People here are made up those who feel that they've been alienated by a society that didn't give them a chance. People here suffer from some mental imbalances. People here have difficulty connecting with others despite their best efforts to. People here hate society for ostracizing them. /r9k/ acts sort of as a safety net. It gives robots a place to socialize free from the prejudices of mainstream society. If it didn't exist a good chunk of those who use it would probably have snapped by now.
