This is a weird thread that will get no replies
ITT post something that gives you nostalgia that no one else seems to share or understand. Post something that makes you remember some bygone era of your youth.
For me it's Day of Defeat, and wanting to be Clone Rizzo:

I watched this vid a thousand times when I was a teenager, and sunk thousands of hours into that game. No one even remembers original DoD.
No one will ever feel the way I do when I watch this:

"IT'S A NEW LAP RECORD!"
"YEAH! I WON! I WON!"
"They come to my shop, they don't wanna buy, why nobody buy? deezzzzz"
"Mmmmmm mhhhmmmh"
Very few will remember this.

THE MAN WITH THE RIFLE SHOOTS
I have plenty of vidya feels, but I'd rather post something different today.
Back when I was very young, I used to live in a small suburb in the middle of what was essentially country. Being an autist, whenever I got kicked outside for playing vidya too much, I'd go climb trees and play pretend in the woods. The area has since been replaced by a row of houses, so I can never go back there and reminisce, but ever since then I've had an affinity for the woods, and the isolation and creativity it can bring out in people.
>Mfw I teared up just seeing this screen shot.
Pokemon Special manga and the superman ice cream.
call me an autistic faggot, but when I was like 8, this spoke to me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DizopdPMBw
I'm guess it's why I ended up here.
I bet none of you fuckers played a japanese indie first person shooter with pretty good coding back in 2004-2005.
I'll never forget my 11-12 year old self blasting JAM project songs and playing X Operations (online) against some japanese players who barely speak any english.
Best fucking days of my life.

Fatkid in Halo 3. But I can still play that as easily in Eldewrito.
This scene.
I remember being a little kid. My older brother was watching Terminator 2 on VHS. I was walking by the TV and saw this, it horrified me.
Years later this scene actually reminds me of being comfy, walking past the TV, covering my eyes because I wasn't allowed to watch R rated movies.

Tails even looks autistic in that picture
>>24532554
I never played that map but I used to love the longswords and whatnot on Bigass.
I miss Custom Edition. It's a shame MS effectively fucked up Halo's future on PC with Halo 2 Vista. Could you imagine Halo 3, or Reach with the community CE had back then?

>tfw you will never be a young teenger playing unreal on COOP with a bunch of older players feeling cool as fuck to be accepted and the whole concept of playing online being still a new concept.
Also I know that feel OP, i used to play DoD a long with a lot of the half-life mods by then.
>>24532556
damn. I know this feel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKv9WeS8BOs
This game's soundtrack is what got me into learning how to play musical instruments when I was in elementary school
I spent thousands of hours playing DoD as well. K98 was my weapon of choice.

>ywn perform the game winning maneuver on avalanche
I always tend to think about all the old places where I would shop and hang out/eat food with my family. It reminds me of a worryless time when we had money and all the cool places we used to go. Many of them have closed over the years so it's sad to see all those old memories basically only happened in my mind and aren't tangible. It's sad seeing the carcass of something you used to hold dear rotting away.

Amazing fucking game
Only /90s Chicago fags/ will remember these bad boys. Subway gave them out in 1997 all throughout the Chicagoland area. I was a little kid and my dad took me to Subway so I got one, I then proceeded to wear them to school for almost a week straight but then all the other kids told me I wasn't cool because they all had a pair too. I still felt pretty cool though so whatever.
The commercial was pretty cool too:

Spent a week playing this with my brother at an aunt's house in Boston.
It was actually Christmastime.
Never found the disc when we got back home, but I keep thinking about how fun and childish that Christmas was.
Good times.
