My friend had a oneitis in high school and while she was sleeping with everyone but him and he even ends up getting arrested or something. Eventually he gets over her and moves onto college, and he develops another oneitis who's going out with Chad. Now he just laments over her saying beta orbiter tier shit like "girls should give me a chance." In four years he didn't change at all.

It just kinda happens. For me I caught feelings for a girl, and ended up convincing myself that she liked me too. When I found out she didn't from a mutual friend, I decided to keep trying. After a while of trying and failing I realised I was fucked so I decided to stop trying. Then I realised the feelings still weren't going away.

Fucking hell my oneitis situation just took a huge turn for the worse.
She's my ex (although our relationship didn't last long because I'm an anxiety stricken loser), and I moved far away a couple years ago. Despite that, we've been really fucking close for some time now. Talking every day. Non stop conversations. She would talk to me while she was at work and shit even though she wasn't supposed to. We even started flirting a ton, although that may have been because we know each other so well.
But recently she's just started acting cold. Tiny responses. And now she's just completely stopped talking to me.
What the fuck went wrong? We've known each other for ages and now she just doesn't give a shit.
