Demon Souls is the worst souls game. All souls games are hella mediocre and have mostly meh and so-so bosses, with the exception of like 3-5 out of usual 25-ish total. Soul Memory hurts lower level builds even more than higher level ones. The way Soul Memory was implemented in Dark Souls 2 was terrible. This system encourages you to either never stop leveling or to occasionally throw away PvP characters and go through the game to recreate them.
