I'm not OP so this is just my experience

wish I knew how to "start" lucid dreaming so it isn't just a coin flip.

I only have/do sex related things when I haven't fapped for a week or so and it just feels like you're slowly rising about to jizz and if you stop in time, you're safe, otherwise you're going to feel like you're 14 again.

get an analog watch, and adopt the compulsion of checking it twice every now and then

the first check is a quick glance, not bothering to examine it closely

look back up, and check it a second time

if it's changed, you're dreaming and often this will initiate a lucid state that feels almost as if glass is breaking. I don't know why this is, but it's something I've noticed that works differently when you're dreaming, similar to lightswitches and the elasticity of your skin

Also I have tried to lucid dream before with techniques and shit but only had 1 and it was very faint. Gave up after a month. When I hear experiences like this it makes me motivated to try again

Also a tip: constantly try to remember what you were just doing last, if something feels off like you remember you were just in a bar and now you're somewhere else, try to fuck around.

I unfortunately have plenty of time to practice to say. I sleep for like 14 hours after being up for 16. Also wake up every hour or two because shit bed or something. Helps me in that you barely remember a fraction of what you dream.
also if you do weed or opiates or whatever, it supposedly fucks with your chances or something.

after I figured out the watch trick I tried to start using wild, which is a bitch at first but eventually becomes easier. Though it's worth noting it fucks up with your sleep cycle a bit.

if you want to play easy mode grab a bottle of melatonin tablets from your local drugstore. toy with dosage a bit, but they often slam you right into rem sleep making wild a hell of a lot easier.
