funny you mention that I spent the last 3 years stretching like 8 hours a day trying to fix my posture. My upper body actually regained 90% normal range of motion and posture and I plan on getting it perfect eventually. Also plan on starting lower body soon, hip internal rotation and ankle flexion is real bad.
It was pretty hard, I just stretched and watched tv shows all day for 3 years lol.
Basically what I did is assess my internal rotation, external rotation, flexion, and abduction, find a stretch for each one that I can hold for 2 mins at a time all day and just did that. It took about 3-4 months to fix each. I was pretty fucked up before. I also tried all that mobilty BS on youtube and that never worked, I just had to find a stretch I can hold all day that works on that range of motion I was focusing.
Having good posture is amazing, I'd do it again and with my current knowledge could do it in 1 year or less easily, it just took me forever to learn about anatomy and ROM and find stretches that work for me.
