Today my parents dog bit the shit out of my dads hand. It hit a vein, blood everywhere, hand was black and swollen. I gave the little Weiner dog a fuckin hard kick in the side and he ran away crying. Made me feel bad for what I did, I was just angry. Mom having him put down tomorrow. She put him in the garage. I let him come out and he's sleeping with me in bed for one last night (pic) and he doesn't even know what's coming Feelsbadman. Just wanted to share this stupid story with someone.
Why did the dog bite him? Was your dad trying to pick him up/ move him?

His legs are failing, his lungs are pretty much gone and all his does is sleep all day. Can no longer take him on walkies, and I have to put his medication in his food so that he'll take it.
Just sleeps all day and has to be carried because he can hardly move. Take him up with me at night though and let him have his own pillow.

Retrievers, hounds, etc.
Classes like livestock guardian dogs will show more aggression to "threats" instead of prey, but they are more one-person type dogs, and will show more human-aggression and dog-aggression. You would use them to protect that cat from your neighbor's pitbull. They are laid back, snooze around, protect things smaller than them. Anatolians, akbashes, pyrenese, etc.
Most bad dogs aren't abused, just very poorly managed and not appropriate for the environment they're in or compatible with the person they're owned by (often because the person doesn't understand their psychology or behavior at all, just that "it's a dog, dogs are nice animals"). Pet dogs being as common as they are is really stupid and they shouldn't be such a staple experience. Maybe if all of american just got a complimentary golden retriever.

From what I've seen Romanian dogs tend to form larger packs, particularly in rural areas. Also, some of them that I've seen I could well believe to have a fair bit of wolf in them. On my old phone I've got pictures of one that I would swear is 60-70% wolf. She was only a year old or so I'd say and she was such a soppy fucker.
Again, didn't give her any food. but showed her a bit of affection and she sat and slept by my feet most of the night untill I had to go to bed, then as soon as I went outside in the morning I see this face pop up in the bushes across the car park and this dog comes bounding over to say hello.
Would have loved to have taken her home. The rest of her pack, they were far too wary to come near. I know in Bosnia, Sarajevo at least, the dogs are protected, so it's illegal to hurt or kill them unless they show actual aggression, so instead they just tag and sterilize to keep the population in check.
In Romania, at least out in the rural areas, they have a culling program in place. They wipe out entire packs even without evidence of aggression. Pretty sad. A dog shelter my brother volunteers at has taken a few Romanian dogs in, but the paperwork and transport to get them here is apparently a nightmare.
If I won the lottery I'd totally start some sort of sanctuary out that way.

I had two dogs from dog shelters. One was sweet and I showed love for. I got angry at him once and abused him but I felt really bad and never hurt him again. The other one snapped frequently. I tried to train him but it never worked. Overtime he became less hostile.
