I live in Worst Korea, and while it's kinda fun sometimes, I'm getting a creepy feeling that just being here and around these people is making me insecure, vain, and paranoid about what other people are thinking about me, whether they think I'm fat, a loser, unkempt etc.

Actually, for a while there, I lost lots of weight and dressed really sharp, but Jesus Christ the pressure to look and act the right way in this part of the world is really something else. The craziest part is that it's not even like anyone actually SAYS anything to each other, but still the longer I'm here the more pressured I feel about literally everything.
I think this is the only cultures in the world where the less you know about it and the less well integrated you are, the more comfortable you are.
