Almost 1 day from now half of us will spend thanksgiving alone how does it feel.
I don't care about celebrating my own birthday on my own, so why should I even care about this meme holdiay anyway
Psyched for the turkey desu

Better than being forced to spend it with your family that hates you.
I never thought I'd have to spend Thanksgiving alone this year. Fuck me.
I got a bottle of wild turkey 101 but I got it Friday so it's all gone, but I'll be getting another bottle this morning, maybe a handle so I have enough to get me to Thursday.
Doesn't exist in Europe enjoy your holiday of death and kekness.
Does anyone else know that feel where you feel disgusted bu relationships?
I hate my Grandparents and every other family member because of my autistic worldview, all these relationships feel sticky in my head like im touching feels made of jelly
I won't, I'll be spending it with family, friends of family, and lots of great food and drink. there was one year when it looked like I would spend Thanksgiving alone, but even then there was a friend who took pity on me and invited me over for some leftovers, whiskey, and late night youtubing

You can still celebrate. Just get some alcohol, friends, talk about God a bit, then watch football or play outside.
I found a sweet recipe. Bourbon, lemon juice, honey, and chamomile. Sounds like a nice warm drink. I just hope it's cold enough, sub 40s. Mulled wine is good too, or buttered rum. I wish I enjoyed scotch but they're all shitty. Knob Creek is good enough for sipping. It's like scotch but good.

I'm a foreign student here but I got invited by two separate normies, one's pretty much just having a party it seems. To bad I simply can't hold it together in the wild anymore. Spending it alone this year I suppose.
My family is all dead or have disowned me
These tjreads hit me too hard

Nobody celebrates it and there is nothing to celebrate. You had diner with indians that you almost entirely wiped out. I wouldn't even know what day it's on.
>tfw days go by without notice
we don't celebrate thanksgiving in germany

Lots celebrate it here in the US. That's like saying no one celebrates Chinese new years and there is nothing to celebrate because I don't celebrate it and it's just some China man drawing some numbers a long time ago. Thanksgiving is Thursday. Try opening your mind and experience other cultures, even if it's just in caricature form as an excuse to get drunk. I celebrate Cinco de mayo even though I'm not Mexican and St Patrick's even though I don't give a shit about some drunk Catholic in a tiny boat doing something with snakes. Hell, I remember getting a bottle of some nasty Jewish anise liquor to celebrate Yom Kippur. I know America is the melting pot so we're fascinated with other countries, but isn't Europe countries like super small? You actually live close enough to see foreign cultures.

Yeah but I feel no connection to Thanksgiving I mean what do you celebrate? Nobody is going to make me a turkey or else I would celebrate it too. I don't drink or do anything meaningful like socialising btw just a little so.. Seems nice but I feel no connection to it.
