Even though the 70s wasn't perfect, I still hold it to a high regard.
There was a general high quality of life, you could live off of a regular clerk or store job and have your own home/support yourself. Education was affordable, so you could do that if you wanted, and University was still highly regarded then so if you came out with a degree you'd be set with a good job. Mass cultural movements where self-expression was promoted and accepted. For the sjws out there, there were a ton of social progressive movements for all kinds of people that you could connect yourself with.
It definitely had its issues, and for certain groups you were fucked, but it was honestly such a liberal "I don't give a fuck just don't bother me" attitude that I think we need to go back to that.
What the fuck happened to the classy look of the 50s-early 60s? When I think of the 70s I think of hippies, peace movement, vietnam war, afro hair, terrible music, and ugly cars
