You've completely missed the point, good job. The point I was trying to make is, is that literally any difference or deviation from the control (a normal brain) is considered a mental illness. However, mental illness is a loaded word. When brought it, it brings to mind things like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, much like the word criminal brings to mind violent thieves and drug dealers.
The idea here being that while gender dysphoria is a mental illness, it doesn't inherently make the person /mentally unhealthy/. Yes, their perception of themselves is fucked, but they can still be mentally healthy in every other part of their life, unlike someone with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. Much like how something as small as jaywalking or pirating a song can make someone a criminal.
