Have you ever drank before OP? Just get what you like if you have, assuming its affordable for you. If you don't know what you like, just get a beer, maybe a shot of something to start out with (whiskey for me usually).
You could ask for their drink specials as well, but depending on where you go some places "specials" aren't even actual discounts.
