Say we develop in robotics and neuroscience.
Would you a robo-waifu?
without hesitation
sure but never gonna happen, there was a news report not long back banning "sex robots" aka robots we would use as a replacement for a girlfriend, even banning and shaming the use of ordinary robots as "sex robots"
>>24473386
Obviously, I wouldn't have to deal with any bullshit.
Robot wives have always been man's dream.
Stacys will do whatever it takes to stop it though.
>implying the robot wouldn't reject you
>>24473416
Wasn't it just a campaign against sex-robots? We are still pretty far from the final product so its hard to predict any further law restrictions on it.
Platonic love is still a good option too.
I just want a robot that can give me a hug.
>>24473502
Get a gf, ya loser
At this point, the only reason I'm still alive is just the hope that robo/vr-waifus become a reality. I just want an intelligent being that expresses positive emotions towards me, they don't have to be real. I'm so starved for acceptance, I'd rather have it be artificial than ever trying to pursue women again.
>>24473386
>Would you a robo-waifu?
All my life is waiting for this moment.I will probably die before we get close do developing fully functioning sex robots.
>>24473416
It was a campaign by some nobody that no one took seriously.
>>24473671
Actually many femalesusually the YouTube news channrlshave a problem with this even when saything that there would be males robots too
>>24473386
Yes, all human females are disgusting.
muh robot waifu
I'm not sure you appreciate how far we are from either AI or a realistic humanoid robot. No chance it happens in our lifetimes.
>>24474169
Certainly this. Its beyond very unlikely you will see it within your lifetime. Some people view all technological advancement as a slow straight grind. Something as complex as multi-part as this takes god knows how much to even approach starting.
Though if its a fuck bot or a vr video game you're looking for it'll happen soonish probably.
>>24474169
A man can dream anon
I don't know if it will be possible, well ever.
By the time we get the circuit efficiency up by using biological designs, we will end up making artificial humans.
I reckon the end game is artificially making brains. It's had millions of years to develop as the most efficient design. I don't think we could design anything better.
But the problem then is, what is the difference between a robot and a person, if they both fundamentally operate in the same manor and are designed the same? We'll just be rejected by the 'robots', because they will just be people.
>>24473573
OH, MY MISTAKE
I DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS SO SIMPLE
>reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, et cetera
>>24473386
Instantly, I have been waiting all my life for this.
Robo-girls are my fetish
http://www.gizmag.com/roxxxy-us7000-sex-robot/14063/pictures#1
This is what it will be like... Just saying.
Are you saying you wouldn't OP?
>>24473386
>Would you a robo-waifu?
>censoring yourself on 4chan
the word you were looking for was FUCK
>>24473386
tfw no curly brace waifu
>>24474381
dreams are for fools
it might be possible in say the next 200 years
in a fantasy perfect world
In reality overpopulation and smog will probably kill the human race off by the end of this century or sooner with any luck
>>24475468
tfw no jet jaguar waifu
>>24475468
>Can barely look at that thing
>You're supposed to fuck it
I'd be too scared to even have a boner.
>>24473386
No and yes in the sense we would all be robots if we want to keep living.
>will exist within our lifetime
>within our lifetime
>>24475468
>Wrapping dead roastie faces over my beautiful robot waifus
Could they please not
>>24473416
>Implying progress can be stopped
>>24473386
I'll buy so much lingerie
the lingerie industry is missing on this hard
bumperino cause this thread is interesting.
fuck the robot, fuck the mods who prune good threads and leave spam meme threads alone, and fuckthe people who leave good threads alone.

Technology is developed much faster than blind evolution. About circuity, we already have something that will sustain exponential growth of processing power for years: carbon nanotubes.
When we create artificial individuals, we would just need to make it so it is a need for them to satisfy their masters. They would derive some sort of pleasure and fulfillment from being our slaves without coercion involved. They would be free but endogenously inclined to be our waifus. Also you could be a robot too eventually. A simulation of your brain in a vessel that will not decay. Truly potentially infinite love desu.
>>24473629
>they dint have to be real
Artificial is just as real as "natural".
>>24473386
What do you think, what will come first? Robot/android body capable of realistic human-like motor skills, or AI that can "feel"?
>>24474364
We already have functioning vr sex games with those advanced fleshlights. We're quickly developing haptic technology that will be vital in simulating real tissue.
AI is far away, but far as in 30 years. Do you remember the shitty tech we had in 1985? Progress only gets faster at an exponential rate with technology. We will see robot waifus in our lifetime.
>>24475504
That has nothing to do with censoring. It's a joke with nip grammar translations.
Of course I would. That's not even a question.
>>24477949
The former closely followed by the latter.
>>24477949
A robot body that can reliably move without falling over on itself will be much easier to achieve than an AI. I think the closest we can ever get would be some bastard child of Watson and Cleverbot.
>>24478471
Robot body alone would be more than enough alluring, especially one that can simulate human-like motor skills. But without AI there would be no sense of companionship, no emotions, no romance, no empathy... Even if we can't fully develop AI capable of all of that, at least we could create something that will surpass woman in flesh. The bar is set pretty low.
>>24479480
to be honest, even an imperfect AI would be leagues superior to what a woman can offer in term of human companionship.
Hell, the affection of a dog is more sincere.
>>24473386
Without a second thought.
>>24474031
who is this semong demong?
Yes, a million times yes. It's just too bad it will never happen.
