Certainly this. Its beyond very unlikely you will see it within your lifetime. Some people view all technological advancement as a slow straight grind. Something as complex as multi-part as this takes god knows how much to even approach starting.
Though if its a fuck bot or a vr video game you're looking for it'll happen soonish probably.

I don't know if it will be possible, well ever.
By the time we get the circuit efficiency up by using biological designs, we will end up making artificial humans.
I reckon the end game is artificially making brains. It's had millions of years to develop as the most efficient design. I don't think we could design anything better.
But the problem then is, what is the difference between a robot and a person, if they both fundamentally operate in the same manor and are designed the same? We'll just be rejected by the 'robots', because they will just be people.

Technology is developed much faster than blind evolution. About circuity, we already have something that will sustain exponential growth of processing power for years: carbon nanotubes.
When we create artificial individuals, we would just need to make it so it is a need for them to satisfy their masters. They would derive some sort of pleasure and fulfillment from being our slaves without coercion involved. They would be free but endogenously inclined to be our waifus. Also you could be a robot too eventually. A simulation of your brain in a vessel that will not decay. Truly potentially infinite love desu.

AI is far away, but far as in 30 years. Do you remember the shitty tech we had in 1985? Progress only gets faster at an exponential rate with technology. We will see robot waifus in our lifetime.

A robot body that can reliably move without falling over on itself will be much easier to achieve than an AI. I think the closest we can ever get would be some bastard child of Watson and Cleverbot.

Robot body alone would be more than enough alluring, especially one that can simulate human-like motor skills. But without AI there would be no sense of companionship, no emotions, no romance, no empathy... Even if we can't fully develop AI capable of all of that, at least we could create something that will surpass woman in flesh. The bar is set pretty low.
