If I remember correctly women are attracted to what you can do for them and your status which makes them feel good. Which brings into question if women love you for you?
But first we must define love by understanding what it is. Love is NOT a magical force or anything divine. Neuroscience has proven without a doubt that love comes down to chemicals being released in your brain. Your love for your girlfriend, wife, husband, children isn't anything special and you yourself aren't special. So when I ask do women love men I'm asking do women have a chemical reaction to us.
My answer is no women do not love us for us. Fantasy unconditional love isn't real thus is the reason divorce rates are high. I believe women CAN love men if he presents a certain status and/or dominance in the relationship. You as a man will have to work to keep her attracted but even then a small screw up means her hypergamy will kick in. This explains why Tim Duncan a very high status basketball star's wife cheated on him with a nobody badboy. As soon as he stopped showing certain traits that turned her on she viewed him as nothing more then a beta-male provider. The CHEMICAL REACTION in her wasn't happened thus there was no love.
While women can love men it's much much harder to get them to do so. Most women around the world don't really love their man. They are settling for what they can get plus many guys are good backup providers. That's is why you'll never see women supporting prostate cancer treatment or men's rights. Women aren't design to love men at large, only the select few.
Conclusion is that female love is based on how much the male-utilitarian entity works. He is a tool she puts to use and if she is happy with the tool she'll release chemical reactions for her own selfish benefits.
