What causes them? I use to get them all the time, but haven't had one is nearly 10 years.

I got this prescription strength antibacterial mouthwash that burns the sore like hell but provides immediate relief. I think my sores happen because too much sugar causes bacteria to flourish along with weakened immune system due to stress. Hydrogen peroxide works well if you rinse your mouth with it and let it sit on the sore for a bit.
