Here is my second attempt. The reason I'm doing these is to gauge how I stand in the social context as I don't know where I am since I've more or less been an outsider when it comes to dating and relationships.

This time I tried to take a more business-like and formal approach to see if I could gauge a response. This way the message would be geared solely towards the operation and handling of the camera mentioned, yet nothing. Very interesting.

This time I spiced things up with a bit of light-hearted humor that was intended to set the mood for some kind of informal, happy-go-lucky conversation that didn't necessarily have to go anywhere. Add in an 'aha' as the cherry on top and the theme of the message is in order. A 'haha' would have worked as well.
This message was intended to dab a little in the contrarian arts, challenging the usage of a select word used to describe the user in question by the user, which was listed on their profile.
Decided to make reference to pop-culture, which in this case was the new song released by Adele entitled "Hello". Opened up with the words "Hello. It's me." which were the same words Adele opened up with in her song.
Ok let me explain it to you.

Here is my latest attempt thus far. I decided to try and find some relatable ground with the user and opted for a more gossip girl type conversation, where we would exchange our distresses over how many messages in our inboxes would be coming from men twice our age. I am still waiting on a response.
I will start making new attempts and get back to the thread. In the meantime I'd appreciate some bumps so the thread would be visible enough for some anons to help me out on my conversation skills.

I used to have a profile on okcupid for years. I had filled in details, done some test/questions and was doing that rating thing hoping to get a match.
One time I decided to start messaging at least 5 girls a day. Granted, my messages were less elaborate then yours, but still I don't think that is a reason to not receive replies.
Anyway one day I decided to do an experiment.

> mirror it and add some random "art" effect on it
> create a fake female profile with absolutely minimum information (photo, age, location)
> forget about it
So I did that on Friday, when I got back to it on Monday I had 120 profile views and 40~50 messages.

That is when I realised that dating sites are not for me.
I dislike the idea of being lowered to a shopping centre merchandise that bored girls look at and compare with other available inventory.

i agree with this to some extent
but i've started
- writing shorter, more concise messages. saves time immensely and has the same, or better, effects.
- being dead-level honest. if some dumb bullshit on their profile gets on my nerves in that moment, i'll comment about it. if i'm feeling kinda alpha that day, i'll be like "you're a knock out. god damn. anyway have a good day." it keeps it interesting. nothing's worse than formulating fake bullshit. it's not fun to write or read. took me a while to realize that.
I just go to art events in my city with paint stained clothes. If you can into art history, contemporary painting and not ho after the Stacies you can bag game easy.
