We played Smash bros and I quoted and brought up a lot of Shonen. I asked some people to roleplay characters in JoJo while we were fighting, which I thought was acceptable due to the fact that it's a fairly entry level anime.
Used a lot of Japanese language that I thought was acceptable amongst us nerds; such as "kawaii" towards female characters, "Kakatte Koi" when they weren't playing well enough, and "Yoshi!" when I won.
