Most dudes have a cutoff for being too fat, once they're under that the other factors come in to play, body type, face, personality, etc.

Women have two uses for men. All men will somewhat fall within the two categories. You are either a genetically superior alpha (in that case, you contribute genetics) or a genetically inferior beta( in this case, you provide support and money)
Because there are many more alphas than betas, to a woman, an alpha is a prize. Women will donate a large amount of their time to gain an alphas attention because of his rarity. Betas are much more common (80% of the male population is beta). So a Woman does not need to give you much respect, you are a replaceable.
Second reason, a woman must choose her mates VERY CAREFULLY. A man can have many children, so he can be more free with his choice. A woman may only have 1 child before she loses a large amount of sexual value. Her disgust toward short men is her bodies way of saying "He is not good genetic material, so stay away!" A woman's first choice of a mate is always the best alpha. After she produces her first spawn, she can then settle with a beta to produce more children. Not optimal, but she guarantees at least one genetically superior spawn.
