I hate Christmas as a commercialised event.
However I adore November. Everything came up me today. It's snowed, got to watch the sunrise, it's a Sunday so most people'll be in bed with hangovers, I've got a tea, a nice song on and I'm even doing something productive alongside browsing R9K for once.

I like that people are less rude to each other around Christmas time + the snow is fucking magical to look at as it comes down. Its a pain in the ass to shovel the next morning but I love it. Especially on Christmas eve. I know santa isnt real but that shit still gives you a good feeling on the inside seeing the snow come down on Christmas.

Honestly, Christmas is melancholy and very bittersweet for me, but I still love it. No matter how miserable I may be, I show genuine kindness and compassion to strangers around Christmas. I had some very rose colored Christmas's as a kid which came to an abrupt end, so I guess I'm making up for that bad time in my life. Hope you all have a safe and merry Christmas.
