How do you get used to working 8+ hours a day?
Sounds like vaginitis to me
>>24426199
I don't. I work like 5.
>>24426199
You dont
It just continually eats away at your soul, and you get more and more depressed and tired
>>24426199
By just doing it. Maybe it's from driving place to place, but I work 10 hours regularly and time just seems to fly by. Then again I'm a boring motherfucker who comes home and does nothing anyway.

Truuuu, I can verify this

PLUTO, YOU'RE RIPPED!
I work 10 hours
I'll never get used to it
If you're going to do something you might as well do it right. There is pride to be derived from a job well done.
>>24426363
Well yeah, you arent supposed to get used to your life being drained from you
>>24426372
>Pride in being a slave
Get a load of this goy
I worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Plus another 2-3 hours for commute and overtime. It broke my spirit and humanity and now I work 8 hours a day and it feels like nothing at all.

You need a job where you work on months long projects that you have control over and determine the success/failure of.
Jobs where you restart everything the next day are soul destroying.

programmer here, I have no issues working more than 8 hours a day since it is more like my hobby.
I went from 8 hours to 5 and a half
5 and a half seemed super easy in comparison, at first. Now 5 and a half has become my norm and it drag on
There is no escape from the pain

I wish I could drive around, but I work retail and just have to stand in one place and suffer customer after customer.
I used to wonder how people can work 8 hours straight but now that I do it I kind of like it more than my short shifts. A 4 hour shift all you can think about is going home. 8 hour shift you kind of just accept that you're gonna be here a while and you look forward to breaks and lunch.
