What job you work that has a 12 hour night shift, I'd love that sort of thing.
next week is we are having an x-mas party (dinner at a restaurant). And i dont know if i should go or not. I've been only working there 3 weeks (its a minimum wage 20 hours a week shit job), i get along with the colleagues but that's only because im good in a work environment. I'm good in social situations if i have something to talk about, which i never have outside of work. Any advice?

Im a nurse tech. 12 hour shifts are awesome, get all your work done early in the week, fuck off the other days. Direct patient care is also fulfilling. Tonight I've been watching a suicide patient and he's pretty cool. We just talk and I make sure he doesn't do anything crazy. Snores like he is underwater though, annoying as hell.

Never been to work party. I get along well with nurses here and such but not enough to spend time with them outside of work. Stay comfy and play vidyas on your day off.

Act like a norm but leave a little ealier and hit a bar or two on the way there so you are not so nervous. Go there talk about norm stuff like the weather or how sad paris attacks are then go home rince and repeat
