You're a pushover. People can clearly tell all your acts of kindness and help are automated scripted actions you perform to make yourself feel better or try hard to emulate "being nice".
Thus people feel you are either patronizing them or have no personality/ "soul" and see you as a monster.
My advice: stop giving a fuck about everyone, we don't ALL deserve kindness and help. Develop a sense of identity and do things if you want to not because it will make you seem "nice". I've been too nice my whole life and i'm trying to change that.
I can already deny large favor requests, but how do i successfully say "no" to
small stuff like grabbing something that only i can reach for someone?
My goal here is to be less nice and more of an asshole (assertive, what's the difference anyways?) but is something like the situation above too assholeish? I'm afraid people will start disliking me.
