I did that. Settled for a fat white loser, thinking I could love and encourage him to a better life that we could build together. I stayed with him for 2 years. All that energy, research for non academic trade school, gentle coaxing, and walking on eggshells not to be a nag ended up with me getting pregnant and him not even stepping up to the plate then. After 11 weeks pregnant I got an abortion and left him.
The last I heard he is a cna, living in his car, and showering at the gym. When i wasnt around to pay half the bills he just decided homelessness is a better option. Thank christ I had his spawn sucked out of me.
