My mother's boyfriend does this. Sometimes he leans down and licks the plate as well. We have a custom that nobody leaves the table until the last person is finished, so I sit there in silence watching him leaning over the table snorting and licking the plate while my mother watched in awe. I just want to move out or for him to die. The last boyfriend she had I managed to drive away by threatening to commit suicide but this one is just too stupid to react to anything. He also started using my toothbrush since he thought it was "communal" and so every morning I have to sneak to the shower and keep all my toiletries in my room. I shouldn't have to deal with this shit at my age. I'm 28 next week and they are away on a cruise around the bahamas for 16 days.
