As a resource distribution system. The reason there's poor people right now is because money isn't moving as quickly as it could due to the fact that it's mostly in the hands of a few people. Those people use their money to accumulate more influence and power and an even bigger slice of the pie. Then everybody else ends up having to fight over the scraps because some greedy fat fuck wants half of it for himself. Tax the super wealthy, stop spending excessive cash on the military and imperialist debacles, and use federal funding to put people to work for decent wages.
