it was the last genre I was craving recently. led me to enjoy listening to jazz on the radio.
Its really good I dont like hearing macintosh,blank banshee or saint pepsi too upbeat and sounds normie-tier.

It's fucking great. Nxxxxxs' Fujita Scale is easily my favorite vaporwave album. Also, greatly enjoy Vektroid's work. That being said I don't know many other "quality" vaporwave groups. I'm not a huge fan of the slow and spacey lyrics common in the scene.

Though the visual aesthetic is super-cool, I was only enamored with vaporwave for about a week before I found it as empty as it implies itself to be.
They're just lo-fi mixes of preexisting works, and I am way more interested in the actual songs and compositions in their original, intended forms.

Vaporwave is neat. i feel like its a little pretentious and tumblry but i think its really neat.
It reminds me a lot of living in a post 1980s/1990s japanese/american Corporate run society. And in a run down dumpster at an old strip mall you find a fuck ton of old vhs tapes and a shit ton of weed.
I think its a cool concept/subculture
kind of like steampunk but different.

I find it strange. The music and imagery reeks of nostalgia, but the guys listening and creating it weren't even alive in the 70's/80's, so I don't really get it.
It reminds me of hipsters that get the surface correct on what they're emulating but manage to completely ignore (possibly on purpose) the actual essence of the thing they're mimicking.
