The problem here is American laws, not SJWs. As a company grows, they need to keep "diversity" up and they hire developers who might be mediocre or average because they are black, female, or whatever.
You can see that in both pictures. They place all the females in the front to make the studio look really diversified. They even staged a black guy in front for the first picture.
The second picture just shows you again, that they have tons of women so they must be an open minded company.
This indicates nothing because it is a staged photo, the development team likely didn't even show up for this shit. These look like PR people standing around taking their "photo op" pic to post on Facebook.
It does not indicate a change in the quality of games, many companies are fine today. Ubisoft is just shit now. Take a look at SEGA, do you think they started replacing team members with chicks? Probably not, they just made bad decisions.

The only thing interesting about it was the mystery of the story and expecting a mindblowing ending that had you misled the whole time, but that's not what happened at all.

mgs 5 has excellent gameplay. i just got done beating chapter 1 yesterday. it's a shame the story and the missions were fucking awful though.
but as far as gameplay goes, it's rock solid, and definitely the best third person game i've played. my one and only problem with the gameplay are the weapon and item switching menus, they can get kind of clunky when you're in a firefight.
it pisses me off that konami rushed it out. this game could have been the game of the decade if kojima had more time.

Yes, you never play as a straight character and need to be constantly reminded you are straight. Portal is a good example, you play as a female but there is really no point in the game where you are actually told you are female (unless you manage to accidentally see your reflection or something). A game is meant to let a player be imaginative, and giving the character a huge identity and unseen storyline is forced.
