Yes. Assignments must be done at the start of the next week.
Usually they continue where you left off in the previous one so if you're behind it quickly adds up.
Apart from that the assignments usually are annoying in the sense that shit regularly goes wrong, i.e. setting up the server to get it running in the first place.
Fixing these is also time unaccounted for.
Next to the classes with weekly assignments there are also group projects which take up a lot of time.
There is just this huge discrepancy between hours they give you for it vs. hours it actually takes.

Can't relate. My brother's about 2 inches shorter than me. I'm 5'10" but I feel lucky considering my mom is 5' even and my dad is 5'6". I wish I were taller but I really can't complain. I doubt my genetics could have turned out any better in that department.
