I thought about farming, but it is a ridiculous amount of work. You need automation to get anywhere, and that is a massive investment. A combine costs about as much as a decent house. Farming is a jack of all trades type of profession, you need to know a lot.

Wear a lot of waterproof sunscreen, clothes you can get wet and have your hose running. Pretty easy to cool off with the hose and you need to water plants while gardening most of the time anyway.
You could try hydroponics, low light or indoor gardening too if you don't want to go outside. I feel like terrarium plants such as carnivorous plants would be a lot of fun to work with.
