Helium exists in a finite amount on earth. Because it's lighter than air it drifts off into space. Due to this it's become pricier and is going to continue doing so.

Where do science labs source their helium? If I was doing an experiment I sure as shut wouldn't want my helium diluted.
Just don't buy shitty party store helium, or go pro and buy nitrogen or methane, it doesn't have to just be helium.
You could also do it with any other of the noble gases but they are slightly harder to obtain
