I have the same feelings everyday. I want so badly to free myself from this prison of unhealthy, pointless habits. Everyday I tell myself that I need to stop playing videogames, stop masturbating, delete my facebook, and so on, but I just can't muster up the courage to do it. I admit that I'm addicted to these things, but I just don't know a way out. It doesn't help that this place is an echo chamber that only reinforces negativity, offering literally zero advice for liberation from our abysmal situation. Mostly videogames and pornography. Both of these things are horrible addictions that have negatively impacted my life. I've found they are harder to quit than something like cigarettes because its easy to overlook their negative effects and therefore justify their use (i.e. "stress relief"). I wish there were support groups for these kind of things. I've tried to quit both numerous times and I always relapse.
